Photo Tour of Central Market | Houston, Texas

I finally got the chance to visit a Central Market store while in Houston, Texas. For those not already familiar with Central Market, it's an American gourmet grocery store chain owned by H-E-B based in San Antonio, Texas. It specializes in high-quality, hard-to-find gourmet foods. Central Market currently has nine locations, all in Texas. The store I visited is the newly-renovated (just reopened spring 2017 after a $10 million USD renovation) store located at 3815 Westheimer Rd. Houston, TX 77027.

It starting pouring rain just as I started to go in early one morning, so I did not get a good outdoor photo of the store front, but I've borrowed this one from The Houston Business Journal. It's only a rendering, but at least you can get a sense for how big it is.

This is a gorgeous store with so much specialty food to offer. While talking with some locals in Houston, they told me they refer to it as Disney World for foodies.
